The Conference "BELT AND ROAD INITIATIVE IN THE BALKANS " will be organized on 10 December 2018 in Palace of Serbia (SIV) in cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Belgrade and Government of Republic of Serbia.

Following the remarkable performance of His Excellency the ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Li Manchang, at the previous conference held on November 10 and 11, 2017, an initiative was launched on the realization of this year's third BSD program with a focus on Serbian-Chinese relations, as well as the role of the People's Republic of China in contemporary geopolitical and international economic relations.

The Conference will be an opportunity for a meeting of eminent experts in the international relations from the China and Balkan Region. The main topic of the conference is the presentation of the strategic significance of the project "Belt and Road" through thematic panels:  1. Aspects of the Belt and Road Initiative 2. Investment and Infrastructural projects within Belt and Road Initiative 3. IV Industrial Revolution - the possibilities of the Serbian-Chinese cooperation.
